Stewart was a member of the 1972 class at Westchester High School in Houston, TX and the 1977 class at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. RIP
Stewart was a smart, sensitive, talented person with a wry sense of humor. He also played drums for awhile in our garage band (and quite well, too).
We lost touch after graduation, until I received a call from him asking about plans for a 20th reunion. We both attended, and had a fun time catching up. Stewart graduated from (A&M?) and went on to medical school in the Phillipines. At the time of our reunion he was practicing medicine in Southern California, working for the Kaiser-Permanente organization.
About three months after our reunion his brother called to report that Stewart died in his sleep as a result of a brain aneurysm. He said he called because Stewart had gone on about what a great time he had seeing everyone at the reunion, and he knew we would want to know.
