My brother John McCormick and Shawn were classmates. We all worked at the Sveden House Restaurant in Town and Country. He always seemed to be happy and smiling. He was a big fan of the Moody Blues. He died March 10,2001 and is buried in Austin, TX
Shawn & I were best buddies in high school and college. We worked at Jade East together in high school. He was the dishwasher and I waited tables. We used to ride around after work and he would speak German and I would speak Spanish, never having a clue what the other was saying. Later we roomed together while students at UT. Times were a little wild back then to say the least. He was kind, funny, and smart. I lost track of him after graduating college and didn't realize we were both living in Austin in the 90's. I wish we would have re-connected.
