RALEIGH - Pamela Leigh Corpuz, 44, died Sunday, March 24, 2002 at Rex Healthcare. Pam was born December 7, 1957 in New York, New York and was a Raleigh resident for 21 years.
She attended Baylor University in Waco, TX and graduated from Wake Technical Community College Nursing School. Pam held various positions in nursing homes throughout Wake County, most recently as Health Promotions Coordinator at Outlook Pointe at Northbridge in Raleigh. She was a Girl Scout for many years both a student and adult and served as nurse at the North Raleigh Day Camp for several years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Brian J. Atwood.
Pam was loved and respected by all who knew her; a devoted and loving wife, mother and daughter, she leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 21 years Bobby L. Corpuz; sons Randall A. Corpuz, Alexander L. Corpuz and Robert J. Corpuz; daughter, Allison P. Corpuz, all of the home; parents, Wilson R. and Patricia O. Atwood of Raleigh; uncle and aunt, Peter D. and Elizabeth A. Oten of Jensen Beach, FL; aunt, Kathleen Atwood of Cheshire, CT; as well as many cousins, friends and co-workers.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2002 at the Covenant Church of Raleigh, 12621 Strickland Road, Raleigh.

The family would like to thank Pam's many caregivers, including the staff at 5 East Rex Healcare [sic] Hospice, her many caring friends and neighbors and Dr. Elizabeth E. Campbell and staff.
