Our Precious Carol
Mrs. Rene Mackin Reaves of London, England, died there May 13. She was 34.
Funeral services were held Monday at Scott's Funeral Home with Dr. Truman Turk officiating. Burial was in Osage Cemetery.
Mrs. Reaves was born May 6, 1957, in Houston, the daughter of John and Mary Bunch Mackin. She was reared and educated in Houston Carol was a member of the Class of 1975 at Westchester High School in Houston, and attended the Baptist University in Houston.
She later moved to the family ranch at Punncla, and attended the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. She later returned to Houston and continued her education at the Baptist University.
She married Clifton Jubela and they resided in Houston for several years. She had been employed as a secretary.
For the past two months, she had resided with her parents in London, England.
Mrs. Reaves was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, John David Jubela of Houston; her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Jana Burns and Mrs. Diane Brown, both of Katy; a brother, John Gillman Mackin of Houston; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mae Bunch of Gatesville and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Parham of Center Ridge, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Ken Atkinson, Don Simmons Sr., Brant Possey, Don Funderburg, Lacy Clark and Jodie Reardon.
