It is with the heaviest of hearts ever, that I am announcing the loss of my sweet brother Mark Christopher Ford. Westchester HS Class of 1983.

He has left behind his beautiful wife and life, Ginger Grossman Ford, his beautiful sweetest most special daughter Farrah Fay Ford of Dallas Tx and his other sweet sweet daughter Mia Park Ford of Boston MA to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, this week. He has also left behind the rest of his family as well as the most incredible community of friends and peers.

Mark had been diagnosed with a Butterfly Glioblastoma Brain cancer in the Fall of 2020 at the same time our father was going through cancer. There will be an Obit coming soon to the Houston, Dallas, and Portland OR papers.

There will also be a celebration of Marks life and his Heavenly 59th Birthday on March 15th, (the day of his Birthday)in Dallas.

As our family and wonderful friends get everything taken care of I will be posting on my FB and Ginger Ford on her FB for details.

It is with a blend of sorrow and gratitude that we announce the passing of Mark Christopher Ford, a man whose life was a testament to resilience, love, and the power of a good sense of humor. Mark, born on March 15, 1965, in Shreveport, LA, lived his life with an infectious zest and a warm smile that left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

He departed from us too soon on February 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and a lifetime of cherished memories. Mark Ford, a resident of Dallas, Texas, was a beacon of light and an anchor in the lives of those who loved him. His vibrant spirit and infectious laughter filled every room he entered. As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation." Mark embodied this wisdom, approaching every moment with joy and enthusiasm, regardless of his employment status. His optimistic outlook, combined with his innate ability to find joy in the simplest of things, made him a constant source of inspiration and warmth.

Mark is survived by his adoring wife, Ginger, who was his partner in every sense of the word, and his loving mother, Jackie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Ford.

Mark's life was not just about the years he lived, but the love he shared, and the joy he spread. His story is not one of sadness, but of a life well-lived and a man well-loved. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "It is not length of life, but depth of life." Mark Ford's life was a testament to the depth of his love, the strength of his spirit, and the breadth of his joy.

We invite all who knew Mark to honor his memory by sharing stories, leaving tributes, and uploading photos to his memorial page. In celebrating Mark's life, we remember not just the sorrow of his passing, but the joy and love he brought to our lives.
