Stephen "Stevee Octane" John Snyder, age 40, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008 in Austin, Texas. Stephen was born on June 13, 1967 in Miami, Florida. Stephen graduated from Westchester Senior High School and received an Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Seattle in Washington (1995). Stephen was an Artist and Musician/Songwriter. He worked as a graphic designer, custom air brush artist and custom motorcycle parts designer. He "lived to ride" his motorcycle and enjoyed hockey and snow skiing.

He was the son of Rita Snyder and Louis and Mary Kay Snyder, all of Houston, Texas; sister, Jae Hudson of Stafford, Texas; step-brother and wife, Paul and Alyce Jerome of Houston; fiancé, Patricia "Patty" Moran of Austin; niece, Cyrina Hudson of Stafford; and nephew, Randy Hudson, both of Stafford.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2008 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2008 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Dr. Ken Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.

Honoring Stephen as pallbearers will be Mike Sutphin, Paul Jerome, Randy Hudson, James Barrett, Joshua Monroe, Robbie Plenge, and Bob Groves.
