I did not know Holly well but I definitely knew her and remember her. Her tragic death is beyond any description. She was so young and she always light up the room. I doubt there is anyone that has a bad thing to say about her. I did not go to school in Spring Branch until the 8th grade. I am aware that many of you met in elementary school. I moved to Colorado in 1983 and I am still here. I went to Trinity University and there were only a few of us in attendence. Living in Colorado has not been conducive for keeping in touch. John Haupt told me in 2013 that Holly had died tragically in a fall. He was still completely torn up about her death. Holly and John were good friends and always sat next to one another in homeroom because of their last names. John moved to Colorado in 2013 and he looked me up. John Haupt has also died because of a tragic fall. Their cause of death is the same. Holly and John both touched many lives in a positive way. Holly was such a bright light and incredibly kind. May they both rest in peace. I am certain that Holly and John are sitting right next to one another in heaven, just  like they did in homeroom.
