In Memory

Stanley Glen Hays, Jr. - Class Of 1976

Stanley Glen Hays, Jr.

April 22, 1958 - May 30, 2022

Stanley Glen Hays, Jr. was born in Houston, Texas to Stanley Glen Hays Sr. and Betty Dunning Hays.

He was an accomplished high school basketball player, an avid sports fan and graduate of Texas Tech where he met his true love, Camille Hodges. He was a mentor to business associates and a father figure to many, especially his children's friends.

Stan's "happy place" was the beach on South Padre Island where he took his children and grandchildren for 35 years. Stan loved the Lord and he passed that blessing to his children and grandchildren. He was our rock.

Stan is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Camille; a son, Stanley Glen III (Trey) and his wife Jessica and their children, Kinslee, Karoline, and Keagan; a daughter, Madelyn Olivia and her husband, Jonathan and their children, Pierson and Hudson; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Jerry Stockbridge; an uncle, Larry Dunning; sister Ginny Abiassi and her husband Tony; sister Lori Maddox and her husband Dan; and mother in law Freddie Hodges and twelve nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Lakeside Pavilion of Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dallas, TX, followed by the interment.

Please honor him by dressing in your best and brightest tropical attire. In memoriam donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Sea Turtle, Inc or MD Anderson Cancer Center are greatly appreciated.
