Tom Jenkins was an extremely smart and funny person. He was a member of Distributive Education both his junior and senior years of high school and worked at Alfred's Restaurant in Town and Country.
After graduating from Westchester, Tom moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas and graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. He moved to California and worked in corporate law before passing away in 1989 from complications of AIDS.
Tom was well loved by his family including an older brother and sister and many, many friends. Even though it's been more than twenty years since he passed away, Tom Jenkins still lives in our hearts.
Tom Jenkins was a very nice guy, and was in one of my classes. I used to call him Tom Cheecots. When he signed my yearbook, he signed his name Tom Cheecots. He had a beautiful smile. I am sorry to know that he died so young. Rest in peace, my friend.
