Wow...didn't know Katherine had passed....she was my roomie at TJC....actually didn't know her much at Westchester...but came to know her well during my year at TJC.  If anyone knows what happened to her I would really like to know!

Hi Ruth.  Katherine died of breast cancer in 1998.  I'd known her since junior high.  She remained one of the kindest, funniest, most laid-back animal lovers I have ever known.  Shared a lot of time at the Posse East.  As far as I know, all four of her siblings are still here in Austin.  Her husband, though I didn't know him well (as I was in and out of Austin for years) was a good guy who loved her dearly.  We (including her Mom) shared several years in the 90s putting up the decorations for Eeyore's Birthday Party.

I'm not sure that this site is well visited, but I hope you pick this up.

Regards from Patty Johnson (10/02/13).

Patty.....I am so glad to know that Katherine found someone that loved her so.  When I knew her we were both just out of high school and a bit crazy.  I very much enjoyed being her roommate at TJC.  We went on many "Adventures" there!  I can't tell you how many times Katherine and I walked up the hill to McDonalds during our time at TJC....saw a few things together that I won't speak of these days.  Evidently you knew her better than me....but I am going to say.....during our time at TJC....we rocked it!  My memory of Katherine....was....she was "balls out"....not meaning anything bad.....but she taught me a thing or two that I still carry to this day!

Saying always....those that have passed on....they are NEVER forgotten!
