As I head off to work the holidays (flying to Brasilia, Brazil and Back), I want to wish all my classmates a great Thanksgiving holiday! Hope everyone gets to enjoy a fine meal and good company. I for one am thankful that I have not been touched or affected by the horrible events in Paris and around the world, and that my life remains largely a peaceful one. I pray for those less fortunate than I. Life is short. Live it good! Make friends and keep them. You - my classmates - hold a unique spot in my life, which I will cherish to my last days. I count you among my blessed friends and companions. Happy Thanksgiving (y'all).

:-)

J.D.

Wishing all a great 2016.

This is also the year we said we should do a 60th Birthday party bash!

Who would like to help organize this?  I'm willing to help coordinate the efforts.

I'm looking for volunteers. Look for a survey soon as well regarding type of get together.

Cheers,

Happy New Year classmates. We are so blessed to see the year 2016! I love the episode of The Andy Griffith Show where Barney Phife and Andy Taylor attend their class reunion years later. Like them, we come to these gatherings with our various expectations and even some fears or insecurities. Yet, when the party ends, fun has been had by all, old friendships are renewed and even new sparks are ignited. I pray that each of you are blessed immensely in your homes, on your jobs and especially in your spiritual walk. I look forward to a 60th birthday celebration with you. To live 60 years is indeed something to celebrate, wouldn't you say?. I hope by then I can finally convince my dear mother that I am officially an adult and a senior citizen as well. LOL Many Blessings!

Just saw that we lost Jeff Howard just prior to Christmas in 2015. His entry appears now in the In Memory section of this site. Thanks to whom-ever posted it.

Please - if you have a story to share about Jeff, then or now. Share it on the in memory section soon!

Jeff was 60. He will miss our party this year. We will remember him though!

Cheers,

J.D.

Suzi Howard (DeGennaro)

Hi J.D.,
I posted the Death of Jeff Howard. He was not only our classmate but my big brother. This is the obituary very short.
"Jeffrey was born on November 5, 1955 and passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015.
Jeffrey was a resident of LaPorte, Texas at the time of his passing.
He was married to Tammy.
A graveside service is Wednesday December 23 2015 at 10am at Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena Texas."
The only thing I can add is he died quietly after spending 7 weeks in the hospital of respiratory distress following colon surgery.
