Sylvia, Abbey and I moved from our beloved Kinston in May of 2008 to try and establish a mountain home that our friends and classmates would find appealing enough to visit. We miss our friends and family in Kinston but are loving the Western NC mountains and hope you will call us whenever you are in the area.

I guess my most vivid school memory was getting kicked out of school? Seems, in a moment of weakness, I let Nuckols and Kleinmaier talk me into hanging Ms Tesh in effigy -- she was not even one of my teachers but I was tricked into helping since Richard and Alan could not climb the tree on the school grounds. Nuckols, of course, caved on me while being interrogated by Mr. Mock. It took 17 seconds from the time Richard was summoned to the Office (he used his father's old pants with a laundry tag still in them) to when I was ratted out. We protected Alan since he was the student body president and up for the Morehead Scholarship. To this day, he has never thanked or repaid us for our silence and bravery under fire. That is my story and I am sticking to it..........
