Lanetta Carter Paul

Music has been my life, but my love of travel began in 1966 when I arrived in Germany for two years of graduate study. During those years I covered most of Europe, plus European Russia and the Canary Islands. My husband (now deceased) and I sailed in the San Juan and Gulf Islands, and he sailed (I flew!) to Costa Rica and Tahiti. Since 2000, I have played two organ recitals in the Russian Far East (Khabarovsk), visited China, trekked five times in Nepal, ridden horseback across the Andes in Peru, and trekked in Patagonia, Iceland and New Zealand. A week after our reunion, I'm flying to Africa with the hope of climbing Mt. Kilmanjaro (19,341') and going on a photo safari. I'm doing pretty well on my bucket list!
