I have just recently moved from the lovely mountains of Idaho back down to Arizona once
again. The past 8 months has been all about selling a house in Wilderness Ranch in Idaho,
packing and finding property back near Cave Creek
Arizona (near Scottsdale,AZ) way north of Phoenix

Spent 25 years in Portland, Or until 2001 when I moved to Cave Creek, my little part of Paradise.
Love it here in AZ, but tried to "go back to NW"
and that just didn't work out. But I did get to spend a lot of time visiting my very good freinds in La Grande for the past 2 1/2 years while in Idaho.

Would love to attend this wonderful 5 year reunion
if at all possible! May have to get a loan out to pay for all the expenses after buying a house here
out in the country and moving again so soon.....
School Story:

My favorite story would be of Mr. Dale Wyatt,
beloved teacher in Jr. High and then wonderful
principal in 1966. I was called into his office after
a difficult year, thinking I was in "trouble again'
only to discover that he wanted to congradulate
me on bringing up my grades and improving myself.
What a wonderful inspiration this was to me, something I will never forget. Amazing what a little
encouragement can do for someone as wonderful
as Mr. Wyatt was.

I had the honor of growing up one house away from Phil on 13th Street, and knew the whole family

very well, and loved everyone of them. He probably never knew how many people loved him so

much! Phil and his younger brother were my best friends. I have some great photos of

them and  they were the very best 'cowboys' on the block. So many wonderful memories of growing

up in that time, with Phil and his family. You really broke some hearts that summer of '69.

Happy Belated Birthday! I was sorry to hear about Brock, and hope you can remember me from High School, seems so long ago, but the memories are good. Would love to see you again, hope that is at the big 50 year reunion! Happy to read about your grand children...

Happy belated birthday Rod! I walked through your neighborhood, or close to it on the way to school, and the McShane's from 13th street with Jan Elder almost every day. We had so many great kids in our area. You share your birthday with a lot of people I know! Seems you and Ginger Piper were an item at one time? We were best friends in High School....Always wondered what happened to you. And yes, retirement rocks.....

Happy Birthday Mary! Sounds Iike you are really enjoying retirement!
I recently was given a photo of some Ackerman school photos.....and remember what a great group of kids we went to grade school with. I certainly enjoy going back to NE Oregon to visit. Have a wonderful day!
