Katherine Ann Johnson

Katherine Ann Johnson, 80, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was born May 6, 1946, in Ventura, California.

She was a former daycare provider, bookkeeper, and wedding planner, roles she enjoyed for many years. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, writing stories and poems, cooking, gardening, collecting rocks and fossils, and spending time at the beach.

She is preceded in death by her son, Donald Baugh; parents, Albert and Audrey Shaffer; and sister, Nancy Kuenzly.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Harlan Johnson of the home; daughters, Katrina Griffith (Todd) of Vista, California, Valerie Morosini of Vista, California, Sheri Taylor (Craig) of Booneville, Arkansas, Anita Garcia (Cris) of San Antonio, Texas, and Aimee Bryan (Russell) of Booneville, Arkansas; sister, MaryLou Shaffer Plate; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
