I received a call Friday night from Kaye Gattis informing me of Mr. Kahdy's passing a few hours earlier. Although he lived a long and productive life, I am sure that all Enloe students who had the honor of having him as their principal are saddened by this news. We are all his legacy, even still in the twilight of our own lives. Perhaps he stayed so long to see how we turned out, because he surely cared enough for us to do exactly that. He was our leader and to many a legitimate hero who gave us so much. Our condolences to his famly, which includes numerous great grandchildren.
