Phyllis Brooks Beddingfield Martin died February 16, 2013.  A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Sherwood Douglas and Virginia Denton Beddingfield.  She worked for First Citizens Bank in Bunn and was retired from Wachovia Bank.  Phyllis was an extremely creative person and very much loved.

She is survived by her husband, James Willis ("Willie") Martin, Jr; daughters Amy Martin-Nelson (W. David) of Groton, CT, Holly Renigar (John) of Raleigh; sister Beverly Couch (Raymond) of Raleigh; and, granddaughter Hazel Brooks Renigar.
