OLEAN - Linda S. Deperez, of 511½ North Fourth St., passed away Tuesday (Jan. 8, 2019) shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital.

Linda was born Oct. 9, 1953, in Rochester, and was a daughter of Henry and Elaine South Mindach.

She enjoyed cooking and baking. Linda was also known as the "Cookie Lady." She loved animals, crocheting and watching mystery programs, but she truly loved her children and her pets. Linda will be remembered as being kind to her friends.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer L. Peck of Olean; two grandchildren, Lindsay Lucier and Anthony Weezorak; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Brylin and Arizaina; and her very best friend, Joni Jobe.

Linda was predeceased by her parents.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday (Jan. 14, 2019) at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean, at which time a memorial service will be held.
