Allan Johnson

I finished my degree at BYU.
I was a professional pilot for a couple of years.
I was an Air Traffic Controller as my long term career.
I retired as the Training Manager of SLC Tower/TRACON (FAA) in 2002.
I then worked as contract Air Traffic Control Instructor, supervisor, and manager over Idaho, Utah, and Montana for the next 10 years and recently retired (again).
During my FAA career, we moved 15 times all over the Western United States.
My interests are: family, family, family
I still have my testimony which has only gotten stronger over the years.
My wife of 37 years passed away in Dec. 2014.
I reconnected with my high school/college friend and we were married in 2015.

Not so funny, but it's how I was blessed to end up in the Alberta-Saskatchewan Mission. Due to a misread dosage of allergy serum when I first arrived on my mission in Kentucky, I became deathly ill. I was transferred from the Kentucky-Tennessee Mission to the Arizona-New Mexico Mission where they transferred all missionaries with health problems. That didn't help and they finally transferred me to the Alberta-Saskatchewan Mission. President Rhoton gave me a blessing and that resolved all my health issues. I had been on my mission for 10 months when I arrived in Calgary. I worked in Saskatoon and then in the Mission Home with President Rhoton for the rest of my mission, AND I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. My mission was one of the highlights of my life.
