Popping popcorn to fill the pit. It took a lot more popcorn than we realized. Yearbook Staff. Girl's League (Sneak Breakfasts). The time I locked my keys in my car, while it was running. Oh...there are a lot. I have to think about it.

Unfortunately, it's too easy to drift apart from friends. I still stay in touch with Colleen Davis, DeAnn Friedlander. Recently had lunch with Tina Hoots-Young. That was fun. Missing my dear friend, Mike Goolie. He left us too soon. Thanks to Facebook...I've been fortunate to reconnect with a lot of classmates.

There can be no real and abiding happiness without sacrifices. Our greatest joys do not result from our efforts toward self-gratification, but from a loving and spontaneous service to others' lives. Joy comes not to those who seek it for themselves, but to those who seek it for other people.
