ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a short video with you about the TROOPS CUP Golf Tournament fundraiser we just held in July in CA for Iraq Star. It was such fun and I don't even play golf. We were over-sold for the event, everyone wanted to support and honor our wounded veterans. I brought in 12 of them from around the country and two of our veterans, Ryan Kules missing right arm and left leg, and Neil Duncan missing both legs, played golf and gave the other players a run for their money, such a privilege to watch. Hope you enjoy it.
Maggie

Classmates

A year has come and gone.  The reunion committee who did such a fantastic job with the 50th reunion has come through again.  At the risk of omitting a name, I'm going to try--  Dave, Ralph, Lois, Pat, Pat, Bill, Joe, Carol, Pete, Marcia, Shirley, Donna, Steve, Shep, Judy.  The cocktail hour and buffet were great and a totally appropriate function for a 51st.  For a 51st reunion, the participation was great  (there were around 30 - 35 classmates, many with significant others.  We ALL thank you.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of a Class Tribute, a lasting memorial for the SHS Class of 1959.  The Tribute was made by classmate Richard (Dick) Jones with indispensable advice from classmate Donna Huron Kearney.  With Kit Lester serving as the emcee, the presentation of the plaque was made by Donna, Shirley, and Lois.  That, my friends, was a totally touching 10 minutes.  Thank you Dick and Donna.

I have posted some pictures of the reunion in "2010 - 51st Reunion".   Go take a look.

Anyone with pictures or any other items or thoughts, please post them or send them to me for posting.   Thanks

Howard (Wink) Whitney
