Leslie, thanks, we did have a great time! Just a lot of good conversation & laughs, most of us were there till about 11pm. I'm not sure if anyone went to the NK alumni. Danny, did you go to that? Were there any '68 or '70 grads there?

Norm - Yes Terry is Dennis York's brother. No Don Privett and Cookie are not bro/sis. Don's sister is Jane (I think), Cookie's sister is Ilena. Yes Sheryl Ring's brother is Gary. Bob Kolhouse has a brother Frank ('72) and lived in the same block as our 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Steffen on 6th St. Steve Alston has a sister Rosalee ('71). They lived on 4th St. just off Main behind the Red & White store. Does that help?

Louellen - I ran out to the Rod & Gun for a little while - place was packed - I had to park out on county road. There were 3 other 1970 grads that I saw, Don Boyles, Bill Schroeder and Joe Robbins. Didn't see any 68 grads but I was gone by 11:15.

Norm, Haven't been on here for a while, so went back and caught up on the comments. I worked at the Bicknell Skating Ring for Lucille Warren, for $2 a night and a free coke. I square danced and also waltzed with different guys, mostly cute rednecks! I had a whistle to blow if someone got out of hand. It was a fun time. I met a lot of good people there throughout high school. Ilena Privett, Cookies' sister worked there, too, and Bruce Henry.

Dick, I will talk to Sheary Gandy and Elizabeth Craft to jopin. We go wayyyy back, and have been talking on Facebook.

I did have the day off today, but not for a birthday celebration. Cindy had surgery on her knee today in Evansville. All went well. Thankfully, we are home tonight recovering from a tiring day.

RUTH A few days ? She is gonna be off work for 4 weeks !!! Even before surgery (with her pain), I was already doing all the household chores (laundry, cooking, cleaning, you name it...my domestics skills are many). She had a torn maniscus(sp ???) in her knee. Gotta go....I hear her yelling for me !!!!

Ruth, I hope Jim and you had a nice wedding anniversary. I am trying to think if you got married before or after, Ann and I did. We were November 28, 1981.

I got three emails on the multi year class site email I sent out recently. Two were for a multi year site and one was against. The class of 68 is considering starting their own site. I offered to turn on the multi year site feature so that they could be on our site. They may go with their own site even though it will cost them $549 over 10 years. Whatever they decide to do is fine with me. Classcreator is going to have a "Guest Pass" feature that will allow the Class of 68 or whoever else has their own web site to visit our site and vice versa.

RUTH I believe the last report you got from Happy Street concerning my lawn mowing activities was my mowing at 10:00 pm with my lights on. Will give you a heads up, you will possibly get a new report of my mowing in the pouring rain Saturday evening.....although it was not dark enough to use my lights ! P.S. - Wish I could keep Cindy on those pain pills the doctor gave her......much easier to get along with !!!!

Tom....I had a meniscus tear repair about 5 yrs ago. While the pain before was bad, I still have pain along with osteoarthritis in my knee. Jim had his done about 5 mos. after me (by the same Dr.) and he has no pain. I also took off work 4 wks. The wicked pain pills made me sick , so only one day of those. Sure hope Cindy does well with her recovery. Sounds like you make a good house husband and nurse. lol
By the way, I haven't heard of any reports on late night lawn mowing on Happy Street!!

Dick....We do exciting things on our anniversary. We did go out to eat, then on to the weekly stop at Walmart!!!
We got married in 1982. I guess we spent too much money on our trip out to Oregon to go anywhere else. ha!!

Just found this part of site been setting here for over an hour reading (more then i did in school) you guys have one heck of memory can remember what happin last week Posted some pic of my 69Harley Davidson been working on it for 14 months and still working on it the bike is called "My Mistress" My other bike is a 1991 Harley Davidson Softail Classic had it for about 6 weeks great bike we love it
