Very sorry to hear that another classmate has "graduated"! Mike was a really fun member of our class. I remember him as a good athlete and just a good solid guy.
Always sad to see another classmate passing. I see this took place back in Feb., but I am just seeing it now. Susan was a classmate I believe from elementary school on. I remember her as quiet, but a really sweet and caring girl. As I scrolled through all the names of classmates we have lost I am reminded that yesterday is gone, tomorrow is unknown, and today is the time we need to cherish. Enjoy today my friends!
Thank you Carol for that post, even a few years after Larry's passing. I was a classmate of Larry's for several years. We never were close friends and he was a pretty quiet student who didn't seem to get involved in a lot of activities. But your post just reminds me that we so quickly make assumptions about each other without taking the time to know the person and know their story. It is fitting somehow that Larry was the voice on the radio and much loved and respected there. As I read the life sketches of so many of our classmates here I am often surprised as I "hear" the stories of their lives and accomplishments. Too bad we didn't always approach relationships that way earlier in life. We missed some great stories.
So sad to lose another classmate! Reality check I guess! I remember Judy so well, but it is fascinating to read "the rest of the story!" I remember her as a pretty quiet girl. To see her described as "always ready to voice her opinion" makes me smile. We were all just kids then. Amazing things were to follow. Blessings on all the family, and thanks for sharing.
