I was in touch with Sharon for several years via Facebook. I began to get the feeling that something was physically wrong with Sharon about a month before her passing. She hinted that she had a health challenge, but was relunctant to talk about it so I just offerred at much comfort and hope as I could. I found out of her passing from her daughter with whom I am still in contact via Facebook. Rest in peace, my friend. I miss you ever so much. Michael Pletcher

I hadn't seen Sharon since graduation, in high school she lived off Wheelock Road and I lived in Hacienda Village. We rode the bus together and I have fond memories of the trip into the Dome each day. Without a friend to visit with for the duration, it was a pretty boring ride. I was saddened to learn of her death, had hoped we could do some catching up at the reunion.
Every good friend leaves a hole in the hearts of those left behind, Kathy
