Janet Steward (Uncapher)
I was blessed to have Charlene as a really good friend for 62 years! Her family moved in across the street from us when we were just 5 years old.
In home room at North Side, I sat 2 seats from Dave Stillman. I suggested that he ask her out, and he did! They got married and had 6 beautiful children together. Then, sadly, Dave lost his life to cancer several years ago. Charlene was a fantastic mother and homeschooled her children and gave them every opportunity to express themselves via music and dance and other activities.
My dear friend will be greatly missed.

Sandra L. Smith (Dewey)
I met Charlene at church when I was 5 years old. I considered her one of my best friends. She was my maid of honor Dave was best man at our wedding. They eloped that October and came to tell us first. They had 6 children, four after 40. She told us at the 25th reunion she was expecting. Charlene hated the name Georgia, and never used it. Sandra Smith Dewey
