I started working in radio as an on air personality while a sophomore at Westchester....and continued in broadcasting for twenty years, eventually transitioning to full time freelance work as a voice actor, doing commercials, network television promos, trailers for feature films, and characters in animated cartoons. I work from home studios in Los Angeles, and Ojai, CA.

School Story:

In college, I majored in not getting sent to Viet Nam. I attended University of Tulsa, but mostly continued my work in broadcasting. I got to work at my dream station in Los Angeles in the early 70's, the legendary 93/KHJ. I was lured back to Houston to work at KILT in the late seventies, but found my way back to Los Angeles where I found my seat at the table as one of the A-list voice over guys. I am a lucky man. Last time I was in Houston (actually to be inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame, if you can believe that) I did not recognize anything at all, except for the smell of the Southwest Freeway.
I am proud to be a life-long west-coast tree-hugging granola-eating, Obama-loving liberal. And I am sure most of my classmates will be happy to have me stay here! Go Wildcats!
