Graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1976 with a BBA in Accounting. Graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1977 with a Master in Professional Accounting with a concentration in financial reporting and auditing. Became a CPA in Texas in 1977.
Joined the Houston office of Arthur Andersen & Co., international CPA Firm in the audit department in 1977. Promoted to Manager in 1982, relocated to Lafayette, LA office in 1983 and left the firm in 1985.
Moved to Richardson, TX in 1985 as Vice President Finance with D.L. Ray, Inc., an oil and gas firm.
Left D.L. Ray, Inc. and moved to Washington, DC area where I joined the national accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath as an Audit Manager. I lived in Falls Church, VA. Left Laventhol & Horwath in 1990 and joined VM Systems (later name changed to Relay Technologies) in Tysons Corner, VA as Vice President Finance and Accounting.
Joined Visix Software, Inc. in Reston, VA in 1993 as Controller where I worked until 1996.
Moved to Dallas, TX in 1996 where I joined TexSYS RD as a senior consultant. Started my own computer software sales and consulting firm, Click Information Technologies, LLC, in 1999 with a business partner. In 2012 we became SBS Group Dallas. We are valued-added resellers for Microsoft Dynamics SL (formerly Solomon).
In 2012 I relocated with my partner, Dan, to Austin, TX. We bought a lot overlooking Lake Travis and are in the process of planning to build a home.
I have season tickets to the UT Football games and attend all the home games.
I am active in the Human Rights Campaign in Austin. I am also a member of Equality Texas, Stonewall Democrats and Lambda Legal.
