I graduated from Baylor in 1987 with a business degree. I worked in refining and marketing with Shell Oil in Chicago and Detroit before returning to Houston and enrolling in grad school. After completing my MBA and PH.D. in marketing, I joined the faculty at Baylor, where I taught from 1995-2000. In 2000, I moved to Virginia and joined the faculty at Washington and Lee University, where I teach marketing and international business classes and serve as Associate Dean of the Williams School of Commerce, Economics, and Politics.
My free time is spent with my family. Both of my sons are heavily into sports, so my wife and I bounce from football to basketball to baseball to lacrosse games depending on the time of year. We also enjoy the beautiful countryside of the Shenandoah Valley, spending many summer days kayaking, fishing, and playing golf.
