Heidi was a wonderful friend who brought a great sense of humor to the table. She loved her friends and went out of her way to help them. She had met a wonderful young man prior to her death. She developed a glow about her because of him. On a rainy April day in Ventura, Heidi was involved in an accident that claimed her life. I will always remember Heidi's great pride while wearing her letterwoman sweater. I will remember her warm smile and her enthusiasm for life.Sandy Asp (Marble)
It was such a shock to lose Heidi--the first of our recently graduated class. I will also always remember Heidi and her enthusiam for GAA/Letterwomen.Blair Cooper
I remember having fun with Heidi during the summers all through high school when both our families would go water skiing at Lake Shasta and Lake Nacimiento. Heidi was a great water skier.Katy Shaffer (Johnson)
I will never forget Heidi. One time I was crossing the senior lawn when she spotted me, and came running over and was going to put me on the senior fountain. I told her "no, no, Heidi, I am a senior". She had me in her arms and was really going to put me on that fountain when someone else told her I was a senior also. I will never forget her response. She put me down, brushed me off, stood back and laughed like crazy. She was a lot of fun in PE too...always has us laughing at something. She was a great athlete, unlike me who could not throw a baseball past my big toe, or even get a volleyball over the net when I was standing right next to it. I was not good at PE at all, but she sure was. I think she was on that football team the one year that the girls played. It was funny, but she put her all into everything she did. It was a shock to all of us to learn of her death. She will be remembered by all those who knew her.
