Eddie Ivey, what a great guy!  In High School he was always there to "listen" to my woes.  He never turned a deaf ear to me.  He was also funny as heck...making me and any group of friends gathered together laugh to tears!.  RIP, Eddie.   Fondly, Marsha (Hudson) McCoy

I really got to know Eddie more after high school at the reunion  get togethers etc.  He was always funny and entertaining and  as someone said a great listener! I also did nt know what a beautiful singing voice he had until lately  Eddie, Audie, Carleta Cates  and I sang gospels songs as a quartet  at the Cates lakehouse several years ago  at a pre-reunion get together   ( they sang I screeched)   and he would reluctantly sing at some reunions. He was a nice person and will be missed!
