David West, 70, of Harrington Park, NJ, died April 26, 2018.  Beloved husband of Kathleen (née Payne).   Dear brother-in-law of Stephen Payne and his wife Lisa, and nephew, Joshua Payne. Cherished uncle of Brian, Scott and Matthew McNeill, and Kerry Sardina. Also survived by many loving friends.

David was born in Wheeling, WV and was a long-time resident of Bergen County.  He grew up in Bogota, and was a Haworth resident prior to moving to Harrington Park.  David was an Eagle Scout, attended Bogota H.S. and earned a B.A. in American History from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  He was founding general manager of WFDU-FM in Teaneck, a vice president at CBS Radio and vice president at DBA Associates.  David was a member of the Old North Reformed Church, Dumont, where he served on the Consistory as both Deacon and Elder.

A Memorial Service will take place at the Old North Reformed Church, Sunday, April 29^th, 4 PM.  Cremation was private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s memory to Old North Reformed Church, 120 Washington Ave., Dumont, NJ 07628, or N.J.
