I was saddened to hear the passing of my good friend Rich. We grew up together as kids on the same street in Maywood. We spend many a summer fishing for carp at Saddle River,  fixing the valve lifters on his chevy, and playing stick ball. Many good memories of a childhood together.

I remember his bird man gesture. Cracked me up.These class sights go from one extreme to the other. Really high from hearing from those you haven't spoke to or seen in years to real lows finding out some have past on before you could speak to them one more time. I think some do not join because they can't take the sad part. But,hey, that's life. Rest in peace Bertie but we will all meet at that big class reunion in heaven.
