BLACKGROVE John G., of River Vale, NJ on Sunday, June 6, 2010. Beloved husband of Frances. Devoted father of John Ryan Blackgrove and Michael Patrick Blackgrove. Brother of Joseph F. Blackgrove and his wife, Glenda. Uncle of Van and Kim Blackgrove, Rob and Yeelan Blackgrove, Scott and Cara Plaisted. Great-uncle to Anthony, Luke, Liam and Mia. Nephew of Helen Harrington, Frances Johnson and the late John Johnson. Predeceased by his parents Joseph F. and Alma Blackgrove, his in-laws Francis and Katherine Ryan, and sister-in-law Joan Ryan. Survived by loving friends, "Uncle" Bob and Mary, Bob and Linda, Jim O'Brien, Jim Breit and numerous friends who have been so supportive and too numerous to mention. Viewing will be held at the Church of St. Andrew, 120 Washington Avenue, Westwood, NJ, on Thursday, June 10, from 5-9 PM. A funeral mass will follow on Friday, June 11, at 10:30 AM also at the Church of St. Andrew. Interment, Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
