Brian passed away at 3 am on December 5, 2016 from kidney cancer that had metastasized to his bones. He was first diagnosed with cancer in May of 2016. Here's his obituary:

FARLEY, Brian David, 69, of Clearwater, FL passed away Mon Dec 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in New York City on Jan 24, 1947. Brian, a Vietnam War veteran, is survived by his wife Ronnie and his children Caitlin and Terry. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Kingston Farley, his father John Farley, his sister Nora Farley and his brother Neil Farley. A celebration of life funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 am, Sat, Dec.17,2016 at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, 2405 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor FL 34695. A reception will follow in the church Parish Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:
