Donald Edgar French Jr. 1947-2025

French, Donald Edgar Jr, age 78 of Totowa at rest in Pequannock on July 13, 2025. Loving Father of Deana French of Totowa, and Donald E. French and his wife Marisa of Bloomingdale. Adoring grandfather of Jordyn French, Devin French, Jason French, and Brandon French. Dear brother of Ellen Di Stasi of Bogota and the late Janet Hastie. He is also survived by his best friend, Chet Roszkowski of Glen Rock. Born and raised in Bogota he moved to Totowa 19 years ago. He was a shopkeeper for Verizon, Totowa, for over 30 years before retiring. Mr. French was a US Navy Veteran and member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa. In his spare time, he bowled at Lodi Lanes and Wallington Lanes and played pool at Clifton Billiards. He also loved to fish. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
