From 2nd grade at School 2,cub scouts and Boy scouts,we were good friends.Time went on and we got to know each other again about 10 years ago.We had fun at Nancy's minis, reunions,Veterens meetings, and then at NJ beaches. The highlight of our friendship came a few years ago, when my wife and I met with Tommy and his son,Jason,at San Antonio, where we completed a bucket list item,by visiting The Alamo. Davy Crockett was always our idol.Tommy visited me with Jason a few yrs. later. His passion, like mine was shooting pool and we had fun together .Our last visit was at Tommy's home a few weeks before he died.We went our for dinner and a beer and though I'm sure he was having difficulty,he was tough and didn't complain.Per my talk with his wife,Patty, today,he stayed strong to the end, showing his Viking heritage.I will never forget him.He was a great father.devoted husband .I love you my friend and one day we will play pool again on that big pool table in heaven.
