RAYMOND WATERS, 74, of Parsippany-Troy Hills, formerly of Bogota, died Monday. Before retiring in 1978, he was vice principal and athletic director at Bogota High School, where he worked for 32 years. Subsequently, he was a mathematics teacher and golf coach at Bayley-Ellard High School, Madison. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Bermingham Funeral Home, Wharton.

OBITUARY Services for Raymond Waters, 74, of Parsippany, a retired Bogota High School vice principal and athletic director, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Flanders United Presbyterian Church, 58 Drakedale Rd., Flanders. Arrangements are by the Bermingham Funeral Home, Wharton. Mr. Waters, who died Monday in the Morristown Memorial Hospital, was a teacher at Bogota High School for 32 years before retiring in 1978 as vice principal and athletic director. Later, for several years, he taught mathematics and coached golf at the Bayley- Ellard High School in Madison. Mr. Waters was a lieutenant in the Navy during World War II, serving in the Pacific. Born in Wharton, he lived in Bogota for 14 years before moving to Parsippany 30 years ago. Surviving are two sons, Raymond Jr. and John; two daughters, Mrs. Pamela Sample and Mrs. Joanne Cotugno; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
