Michael Lott
Mr. Michael H. Lott, 75, of Vestavia, AL, formerly of Conyers, GA passed away on June 3, 2018.

 

Mr. Lott was born in Covington, Georgia on November 11, 1942, the son of the late Marshall Herbert Lott and Elizabeth Biggers Lott of Covington, Georgia.

 

He graduated from Georgia Tech and served as a Captain in the army during the Vietnam War.

 

He enjoyed a career in Economic Development promoting the State of Georgia.

 

Surviving Mr. Lott are his wife of 43 years, Sarah Joyce Kibbey Lott,      (JOY)

 

his sons Michael Lynn Lott ,

 

Cary Marshall Lott (Madelaine Doss),

 

his daughter Laura Elizabeth (Lollie) Lott,

 

his grandchildren, Annalee and Jillian Lott,

his sisters Marsha Harris (Larry), and

Gerry Chambers as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Visitation will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 8 at the American Village in Montevallo, Alabama. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 pm, at the Alabama National Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the US Army.

 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Conyers Presbyterian Church in Conyers, Georgia or to The Wounded Warrior Project.

I deeply regret the passing of Mike.Mike was a great person.He will be greatly missed.
