Mrs. Muree Moss Geiger, age 68, of Covington died May 8, 2011. She was born May 24, 1942 in Covington to the late Herbert and Sallie Callahan Moss. Mrs. Geiger a lifelong resident of Covington and was employed for over 20 years with Oxford College. She was a longtime member of North Covington United Methodist. Mrs. Geiger was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Geiger is survived by her Husband Mr. Ray Geiger, Son and Daughter-in-law Michael and Mechelle Geiger of Covington, Daughter Lisa Geiger Thomason of Mableton, one Sister Frances Normand of Martinez, four Grandchildren; Paul Geiger, Ben Thomason, Jeremy Thomason and Lila Geiger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Geiger will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the North Covington United Methodist Church with her remains being placed in state at 1pm Reverend Mike Bell officiating. The family will receive friends at the Harwell Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm Monday, May 9, 2011.
