
Charlie M. Randall
FEBRUARY 26, 1942 ~ MAY 24, 2018 (AGE 76)
Mr. Charlie McDonald (Donald) Randall passed on May, 24th, 2018 after being a resident at the Georgia War Veteran’s Retirement Home in Milledgeville, Ga. He was a lifelong resident of Covington, Ga. Mr. Randall was a graduate of Covington Junior High School, Newton County High School and The University of Georgia with a degree in marketing. He graduated from UGA in the top ten percent of his class. As a Navy Veteran, Mr. Randall served on an aircraft carrier with the distinction of being the person who determined if a helicopter was airworthy to operate or not. He was in service during Viet Nam. Mr. Randall was employed by the Georgia Department of Public Safety in the security division of the State Capitol in Atlanta. Predeceased are parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hoke S. (Agnes) Randall brother, H. S. (Smitty) Randall, Jr. and sister, Betty Jane Randall Marsh. Mr. Randall is survived by a host of friends, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mr. Randall will be held 2 o’clock, Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Covington City Cemetery with Pastor David Payne officiating. Mr. Randall requested, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to The American Red Cross, in the name of his sister, Betty Jane Randall Marsh, because of her long service to that organization. I deeply regret the passing of Donald.He was a personal friend,classmate, and college roommate.We had lots of fun and great memories.I shall greatly miss him.
