Frank Richardson of Covington, passed away September 15, 2014, at the age of 73. Mr.
Richardson proudly served his country in the United States National Guard. During his
service, he worked for the United States Postal Service, for 33 years, before his retirement
in 1996. He was a faithful member at Porterdale Baptist Church, where he actively served
as Deacon, and had previously taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. He loved
sports, but most importantly, he cherished his family and spending time with them. Mr.
Richardson was preceded in death by his parents, Giles and Mattie Ruth (Casteel)
Richardson; and his brothers, Danny, Charlie and Billy Richardson.
 
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sandra (Sullivan) Richardson; sons, Danny
Richardson, Mike Richardson, Rod Richardson; grandchildren, Michael, Molly, Matthew,
Levi, Emmalee, Hanna and Blaire Richardson; sister, Margaret Mitchell; brother, Hubert
Richardson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral Services for Mr. Richardson will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014, 2:00
PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington,
with Rev. Dickie Johnson and Pastor Josh Folkes officiating, and interment following in
Lawnwood Memorial Park.
 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, September 16, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM.
