Started engineering school/Purdue fall '63; enlisted USAF Aug. '64-Aug. '68(during which went through 9-month Russian course at IU; stationed in Germany, learned German); returned to engineering school at Purdue, Sept. '68-June '71; 1st job: with an aerospace subcontractor, Aurora, Co, fall '71; 2nd job: at a ground-based test center 30 miles NE of Pueblo, CO, Jan. '72-Nov. '74; worked as a locomotive engineer Nov. '74-May '08: Denver & Rio Grande Western/Southern Pacific/Union Pacific, all out of Pueblo (city & county), CO where I still live. Busy with cultural, social, political, & religious activities; and traveling. (Last season took up skiing again, after a 29-year hiatus.)
