William 'Bill' Anthony Prenosil, 64, of Lincoln, died peacefully at home on August 7, 2018, after a courageous four year battle with lung and throat cancers. Born March 11, 1954, in Lincoln, to Joe and 'Pat' Prenosil. In March 1974, Bill graduated from Southeast Community College, Milford, with a degree as an automotive technician. Bill had a love of cars, he was a Ford man his whole life. From a young age, he enjoyed working on cars, 'pulling gears,' just taking a drive, and building model cars. He turned his hobby and love of cars into a career After 35 years at T.O. Haas Tire and Auto Service, he reluctantly retired due to his illness.
 
On September 5, 1975, he married his sweetheart, Dianne Krysl Focken. Born to this union were a son, Matthew, and a daughter, Jessica. Survived by spouse, Dianne, son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Heidi (Sitzman), daughter, Jessica, brother, Bryan (Sandy), all of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Dayle Prenosil, Rising City; brothers-in-law, Dan (Nancy) Krysl, and Mike (Lori) Krysl, all of Atkinson; and sister-in-law, Cheryl (Ed) Stubbs, Madison, Kansas. Many nephews, nieces and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents, parents, and brothers, Ryan and Robert.
 
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 10, at Southern Heights Presbyterian Church, 5750 S 40th St. Pastor Leanne asters officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. with family greeting relatives and friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive (40th &Yankee Hill Rd.). Memorials to the Lincoln Humane Society. Condolences may be sent to roperandsons.com.

William “Bill” Prenosil, 64, of Lincoln passed away Aug. 7, 2018. Funeral service at a time to be determined on Friday, August 10, Southern Heights Presbyterian Church, 5750 South 40th. Visitation with family present: 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive (40th & Yankee Hill).

I hung around with Bill backin school. He was a fun loving guy who loved to build fast cars. He really loved his Fords. Had some crazy great times back in the day. Sad to hear of his passing.
