PONCE, Louise E., (nee Tamburro) 69, of Maywood, NJ passed away on Wednesday, August 31,2016. Louise worked as a CPA in the hotel industry for 44 years, first for Prime Hospitality Corp and most recently for Paramount Hotel Group in Fairfield,NJ as the Vice President and Controller . Beloved wife of 44 years to George A. Ponce.
Cherished mother of Michael Demarco and his wife of Florence Ianntuano, Debby DeLiberto and her husband Joseph and George Ponce and his wife Diane. Dear sister of the late Maria Pelissier and the late John Tamburro. Treasured grandmother of Chelsea and Haley DeLiberto and Emily Ponce. Loving aunt of Maria Mark and her husband Jeff Sokolow, the late Vincent Pelissier, Gaye-Lyn Pelissier, Anthony and William Pelissier. Loving great aunt of Liana Klejmont and her husband Michael, Lauren Mark, Sean, Kyle and Brielle Pelissier.
Funeral services were held at the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood, NJ 07607 (201-487-3050) on Sunday evening, September 4, 2016 at 8:00pm. Visiting Sunday 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Cremation Private. In lieu of flowers and to honor her love of animals donations may be made in her name to the Garden State German Shepherd Rescue, P.O. Box 773, Millburn, NJ 07041.(www.gsgsr.org)

I first met Louise way back in September of 1959 when I we were both in Miss Gibbons sixth grade class together . She never looked at me like I was odd . She was always nice to me . Thru out the years at MJHS and over at BHS if she saw me in the hall way she would always say hi to me and if I saw her first I would do the same . Rest in peace Louise .
