Hey all,

I just wanted to let you know classmates.com  (which is now memeorylane)  is seeking yearbooks, so they can scan them and post for all to see.  I sent them my 1976 and 1978 yearbooks, they are now available for viewing.

They paid postage both ways and they gave me a free year subscription to Memorylane.  Also they sent me two gift certificates for 25.00 each to Amazon.

IMPORTANT  NOTE!  THEY SCAN EVERYTHING IN YOUR BOOK.  INCLUDING YOUR FRONT PAGES WITH SIGNITURES ETC.  IF YOU WROTE ANYTHING ON ANY PAGE IT WILL BE SCANNED EXACTLY AS IS!

If you go the memory lane website you should be able to find the info if not just click on their contact link. You can also order yearbooks so if you are missing one and want to order you can check on availablity.  I thought it was a good deal and I think it is great to have all the yearbooks to view.

Sincerly,
Doreen (Bukovinac) Sharpe class of 1978

Just wondering-- how many of Crestwood's class of 1970 are doing the snowbird thing in Florida?  Is it possible to have a get together at a restaurant to reunite?  (The Class of 1971 is doing this--just thought our class might be able to get together too!)

113 classmates live in Florida.  On the website, Home Page on the right is a box called WHERE WE LIVE  - Who lives where - select from the dropdown to find out.

We snowbird it each year. Sunrise side. Never get tired of this view and our path to the beach. We'll move eventually but still have aging parents who need us back home.

Besides wonderful views, low or non-existent taxes, common-sense government, and warmth, who would ever want to live in Florida?......:}

On another note, why not open up the topics somewhat, especially politics, as we are all Crestwood grads and are able to decide for ourselves what comments to read, and others, to chuckle at.  Speaking of chuckles, a short burst of humor....

A large corporation recently hired several cannibals. "You are all part of our team now," said the HR rep during the welcoming briefing. You get all of the usual benefits and you can go to the cafeteria for something to eat, but please don't eat any of the other employees." The cannibals promised they would not.

Four weeks later their boss remarked, "You're all working very hard and I'm satisfied with your work. However, one of our secretaries has disappeared. Do any of you know what happened to her?" The cannibals all shook their heads "No."

After the boss had left, the leader of the cannibals said to the others, "Which one of you idiots ate the secretary?" A hand rose hesitantly.

"You fool!" the leader continued. "For four weeks we've been eating managers and no one noticed anything.

 But NOOOooo, you had to go and eat someone who actually does something!!!"
