I'm sorry to Laurie's family and all her loyal friends. She was a wonderful person. It seems our group of friends have lost too many, too soon.Lorelei Buettgenback (Peters)
I was sad to hear of Laurie's passing. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. I had known Laurie since 7th grade at Lefler and it was good to see her again in 2012. Again, so sorry for your loss.
Paula Grant (Smith)
Laurie was among my dear friends at LSE. We nearly failed biology class due to all of our talking and laughing. We made one hapless attempt to skip that class but immediately got caught and never tried again. Coincidentally, I drove past Seacrest Field about 6:30 p.m. Friday evening. Noticing the colors on the field were very familiar--it was a Links vs. Knights game-- and being curious to see the scene, I walked in to take a look around. Laurie and I, along with our other good girlfriends, spent every fall Friday game night at Seacrest, as pep clubbers and cheerleaders and band members. Laurie made it all more fun, and I am confident she is at peace, in God's care. My heartfelt sympathy to Bob, her beautiful children, and the Maddox family.

I am sad to learn of Laurie's passing. Thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. She was one of my first Lincoln friends when I moved to Sunrise Road and started third grade at Eastridge. I will remember her fondly.
