For those of you who haven't seen Nord in many years I can tell you he was still the kind-hearted guy that we all knew.  He loved to laugh and I sure will miss seeing his smile.

I am grateful for the time I was able to share with Nord.  He had such a kind heart towards others.  God bless you Brother Nordquist - Scott Bloom

I had many wild experiences with Bill going all the way back to 5th grade at Maude Rousseau school.  We were always getting into trouble.  He was too much for Arnie & Martha to handle.

I'll never forget that crazy screeching laugh he had when he really got going.

Up in Montana Bill camped out with me at my forest campsite.  He helped out with one of my building projects there.  One night we were broke down in his truck near my place.   In the road with the hood up, and this big ass black bear walked out right in front of us.  Nord goes, " LOOK theres BEAR over there"

I really miss him not being around anymore.  He was always great company.   He had ALOT of friends from his college days up in Montana.  I met a bunch of them and they all called him Will.  He says " Hord when we're with these guys call me Will OK?"

See you on the other side Brother Nord.

Nord and I were very good friends in high school and we hung out a lot. Sometimes after school we would go over to his house and before we would go in he would say that we had to be very quite. Funny that Bob Hord would say that Nord was a handful for his parents, because I witnessed this too.  His parents who were already retired by the time Nord started high school, were usually taking a nap in the afternoon. If I remember correctly Nord was born about 20 years after his sister who would have been old enough to have been his parent and his parents were old enough to be his grandparents. So we always had to keep music low and no loud laughing which was hard to do around Nord.

Nord was a great guy but I had lost touch with him as I have with about everyone else I knew in high school, so when I found this web site a couple of days ago and saw that not only Nord had died but George Newsham and Billy Marshall too, it was quite a shock.

I count it a privilege to have been his friend in this world. Goodbye my friend.
