First Thursday Breakfast
March 2, 2023

Eighteen classmates and guests gathered for March's First Thursday Breakfast, incuding one record-breaking newbie and a special guest.

Diane Cohen Griffith, who was tracked down in December through our outreach efforts, made the four hour trek all the way from Haymarket, Viirginia  -  easily the longest distance traveled by a classmate since the monthly breakfasts began - for her "first First."

Also joining us was Diane's cousin, Janis Krieger, WHS Class of '73, who is the current vice president of the Wilson Area School District Board and (by her own admission) still twirls with the Warrior Band at the annual Homecoming football games.  Janis also serves on the board of the Wilson Area Partners in Education Foundation and briefly filled us in on its composition, mission and upcoming events.  More information on this worthwhile volunteer organization supporting the Wilson Area schools, teachers and students is available at wapef.org

Joy employs an innovative heightening hack to get everyone into the table shot.

Having enjoyed our December Zoom Gathering so much, Diane Cohen Griffith (center) ventured over 200 miles to join Mary, Debbie and 15 other '71 Breakfasteers to assume the title of Most Long Distant First Thursday Diner.  Diane plans to repeat her feat at the September 30 Birthday Picnic.  To all other ong distant alums . . . the gauntlet has been tossed!

The Livingstone Alumni Association was in the house!  Cindy, Bob, Linda and Donna formed a strong contingent of West Easton and Glendon's finest.

Not to be outdone by the Livingstone crew, Donna and Marti rep Liberty Elementary while Leo and Bob discuss photo bombing techniques in the distance.

As he awaits the start of his beloved Mets' season, Bob Statler proudly displayed the latest fan gear from his newest passion - the XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons.
