The Forums
This is the gateway to the two comment and discussion areas of the WHS Class of '71 website - The Campus Room and The Forums.
The Forums are set up with pre-determined topic areas. Our current (free) website subscription plan allows for a total of three. We are starting out with two. The Talkin' Tunes forum is geared toward reminiscences and discussions of all things musical, including any requests or dedications you'd like to have posted on the website. The It's Elementary forum is geared specifically to the years we spent at the six different elementary schools (Avona, Fairview, Hay, Liberty, Livingstone and Williams Township) most of us attended.
The Campus Room, like its physical predecessor, is a place to hang out and have a conversation. There are no pre-set topics or threads. It's a great place to comment on or discuss anything you see on the website and to recall - or seek assistance in recalling - all those distant memories.
Just keep in mind that we've set this site up to promote friendly communication and reminiscing between classmates. As such, keep the discussions civil and avoid polarizing topics such as politics, religion, etc. (We wouldn't want to put Facebook out of business!) Spirited discussions about whether The Four Tops were better than The Temptations or whether Richard's, Jimmie's or Toby's had the best grease dogs are highly encouraged. Also, since our lives hardly ended at graduation (that's why they called it commencement, right?), don't feel the need to restrict discussions to pre-1972, or to the 20th Century for that matter.
