Wilson Area High School
Class of 1971
Legacy-Project-01
The Legacy Project
In conjunction with the Class of 1971’s upcoming 70th birthday celebration, we will be putting together a compilation of photos that represent a “snapshot” of what you’ve been up to in the 50+ years since graduation.
We’d like each classmate (who wants to participate) to locate and provide a digital copy of up to 12 photos that tell a brief pictorial story of your life since WHS. The goal is to incorporate the photos into a video that will be previewed at the class picnic on 9/30.
Here’s a chance to go autobiographical (in a dozen images or less) and show us what has defined you, what has been important to you and what you’d like to share.
Family and friends, children and grandchildren, homes, pets, prized possessions, weddings, trips, vacations, college, jobs, careers, organizations, teams, hobbies and skills, teaching and coaching, accomplishments and awards - the list goes on.
Since the advent of Facebook, smart phones, etc. many of your precious memories are likely already in digital file formats. As for those gems from the 20th century, you’ll need to scan or have them scanned (CVS Photo and/or tech savvy grandchildren may be helpful) into .png or .jpg files.
When you’ve reduced the last 50 years to those special 12 photos, email the files to whslegacy71@gmail.com by September 15. If you’d like them to appear in a specific order (e.g. chronologically) please indicate so in your file names/numbers or by explanation in your emails.
This will be an ongoing project to include any classmates who wish to participate, but initial priority will be given to those who are attending the September 30 picnic so that they may be included prior to that event.
